Summer Isles Croft is located in the village of Polbain in Achiltibuie on the Coigach peninsula in Wester Ross.
Access to Achiltibuie is by road – 25 miles north west of Ullapool which is reached by the A835 from Inverness or Gairloch, or for those who are coming from the Western Isles, by the Stornoway-Ullapool ferry.
Inverness acts as a transport hub for the Highlands and Islands and it, in turn, is reached by road and rail from all directions and by air from several UK and some European airports. Hire cars are readily available from all the major and some local providers in Inverness.
